This is a manual created for school personnel to
use when involving families in functional behavior assessment and Positive
Behavior
Support. In general, personnel more familiar with Positive Behavior Support
and functional behavior assessment may find the manual more beneficial.
The manual contains three sections: Section 1 describes considerations
in creating family friendly schools, Section 2 details functional behavior
assessment with vignettes to illustrate each step of the process, and the
Resource Section offers resources such as forms and checklists that accompany
the activities outlined in Sections 1 and 2. Visitors to the web site interested
in the manual may contact Bobbie Vaughn, Project Director
for more information or download it as a .pdf by clicking on the image
to the right. Many forms in the Resource
section also may be downloaded from the web site without purchase of the
manual.
